Aylostera muscula (F. Ritter & Thiele) Backeb.


Regarded by some as a form of Aylostera fiebrigii. The name means “small mouse” and the short, closely packed soft white spines give this plant a furry look. The stems are spheroid, and it forms clusters. It has orange flowers with white stigmas.
