Aylostera buiningiana (Rausch) Mosti & Papini

Regarded by some as a form of Aylostera deminuta or Aylostera pseudodeminuta. Initially there was confusion as both Ritter and Rausch each named a different plant “Rebutia buiningiana” after the botanist Albert Buining at the same time! Ritter changed his one to Rebutia archibuiningiana, now thought to be the same as Aylostera spinosissima.

The plant forms globular greyish-green, fairly spiny, round bodies with pinkish orange flowers. The pink tones tend to disappear after a day or two.

The description is here.
