Description
With a large flower similar to Aylostera steinmannii var. costata, but the areoles are smaller and the spines shorter (hence the name). This plant was found by Ralf Hillmann at San Antonio, Tarija, Bolivia, at an altitude of 3500m.
Young plants 2 – 3 years old.
