Aylostera tafnaensis (Rausch) Mosti & Papini

Regarded by many as yet another form of Aylostera pygmaea. Stated by Rausch (who described it as a form of A. pygmaea) to differ from the similar A. knizei chiefly by its flowers: by having pink outer petals, iridescent red-orange inner petals with a greenish-white centre. Found to be different enough to be given specific status by Mosti & Papini (2011).
