Aylostera perplexa (Donald) Mosti & Papini


The name refers to Donald originally mixing this plant up with Aylostera (Rebutia) narvaecense (narvaecensis). This plant is fairly distinctive, forming mounds of numerous small spherical stems of a bright light green colour, covered in tiny brown spines with brown wool. Flowers are lilac-pink, numerous, and with white stigmas.
