The type plant for this species, found by Friedrich Ritter at Mal Paso, Sud Chichas, Potosí, Bolivia.
This is the true form of this species with the “nasturtium coloured” orange flowers, not the imposter with the white flowers found in many nurseries.
Grown from seed sown in 2020.
