Description

Found by Alfred Lau at Tafne, Jujuy, Argentina, at an altitude of 3800m, this plant has been put into various different boxes, at times being named Aylostera nigricans, A. eos, A, haagei, A. elegantula, A. atrovirens. There has also been confusion with plants numbered L541a, L541b and L541c.

The plants offered here were grown from seed sown in 2021, from plants obtained from Prof. Diers in Germany, labelled Aylostera haagei v. elegantula L541.
