Aylostera torquata (F. Ritter & Buining) Mosti & Papini


A very attractively-stemmed plant, the short spines along very well defined ribs, often spiralling around, with clear space between each rib. Regarded by some as a form of Aylostera diersiana. Flowers are typically a hot orange or reddish rather than the usual cool yellow of A. diersiana.
