Description
Although not a part of our National Collection this species is also a high-altitude cactus from the Andes mountains in Argentina. The “glaucum” part of the name refers to the bluish bloom on the skin, but it is the vibrant yellow flower which excels through the spring and early summer.
Note that the photo shows adult plants; the young plants for sale have not yet flowered.
