Aylostera malochii Slaba & Fischer

A new discovery in a tiny area north-east of Camargo, in Bolivia, and described in 2009. There are two forms of this plant, with yellow flowers and with white flowers. Superficially, the yellow flowers look similar to Aylostera diersiana, but internally they are different, and the bodies of the plants are quite different, much bulkier, longer spined.

The description is here.

Plants of this species in the collection include:

Aylostera malochii LF359

Aylostera malochii ROS162.1

Aylostera malochii (coll. Fischer)
