Aylostera malochii description

Rebutia (Aylostera) malochii was described in Kaktusy 45(1), p.11, by Rudolf Slaba and Ladislav Fischer in 2009. I have not yet been able to locate a copy. However the main features are:

Bodies up to 6cm tall and 3cm in diameter, dark greyish green with a purplish cast, branching with age;

Pronounced tubercles with deep furrows, spiralling slightly, with the areoles in pits;

7 – 9 radial spines and 1 – 2 central spines, all quite long, 12mm, dark brown (although a short spined example is illustrated in Fickensher, K., (2021), “Aylostera & Rebutia, Blütenwunder aus den Anden”. Deutsche Kakteen-Gesellschaft, Adelsdorf);

Flowers 30mm length and width, outer petals brownish-green, inner petals cool yellow, less commonly white, stamens pink, pollen sacs yellow, style and stigmas green.
