Cultivars – new list

One of the main functions of Plant Heritage, who oversee all of the National Collections in the UK, is to conserve cultivars to prevent them from becoming extinct. While the collections we have here concentrate on the wild-type plants which occur naturally in habitat, it is important that we also represent the main cultivars, especially now that the main producer of these in recent years, Southfield Nurseries, has closed.
