A recent discovery, described in 2020. Discovered by Ladislav Horáček and Marcela Megarejo, growing on a hill near the village of Torancani, Cochabamba, in Bolivia, at an altitude of 3200m. The flower is reminiscent of S. clizensis but the body is quite different, a greyish-green colour, which continues through generations in cultivation. The plant is quite easy to propagate as every pup has its own roots, and it freely produces viable seed, so it is starting to appear in nurseries.
