Description
At the last count there were six explorers using the acronym MS (!) therefore I’m unsure as to who found the original plant here, but it was located west of Mizque, Cochabamba, Bolivia at an altitude of 3066m.
Originally recorded as Sulcorebutia santiaginiensis, also found under the name Sulcorebutia horaceckii, but regarded here as a form of Weingartia purpurea.
