Haworthia is a genus of plants from southern Africa, which have beautiful succulent leaves in a rosette formation, and delicate, dainty flowers on long stalks. There are many species in a wide variety of forms, and also many beautiful cultivars. They don’t take up much room and are easy to keep: as with cacti, make sure that they don’t stay wet for long.

As visitors will know we have a vary large collection of Haworthia and Haworthiopsis plants here, and every so often the plants need split up and repotted.
