Aylostera huarinensis KK1922

This plant serves to illustrate the chaos which sometimes besets the naming of this genus. Bought as KK1932 from a nursery, which I think is a mistake and the number should be KK1922 (KK1932 is a Weingartia (Sulcorebutia)). Discovered by Karel Knize at “Huari” in Bolivia and named by him “Mediolobivia huarinensis” (but there are several places called Huari, and which one isn’t specified) this plant has been listed by nurseries as huaronensis, huariniensis, huoriensis, huasiensis and huariensis, as well as been classified as Rebutia / Aylostera / Mediolobivia muscula, albipilosa, steinmannii, fiebrigii and nivea. Not only that but it seems that Knize gave the number KK1922 to at least 3 different plants.
