Description

This plant was grown from seed supplied by a commercial seed supplier as “Echinopsis backebergii v. wrightiana”. However it is not that! With it’s fine, dense spination and orange flowers it is not like the currently accepted subspecies ssp. wrightiana of Echinopsis (Lobivia) backebergii. As such it is offered at a reduced price as an “unknown” Lobivia.

Nevertheless it is a very attractive plant, slowly clumping to form a small mound.
