From now and for the next four weeks, we will start moving all of the plants from their current home to their temporary homes, while the preparations are made for the new glasshouse. The hardier plants will stay outside, sheltered from the rain, while the more sensitive ones will be found a place in the house. Then follows the task of dismantling all of the staging, and preparing the glasshouses for dismantling. The electrics, lighting and water supplies have already been taken out- we did that last week.

The groundworks for the new glasshouse are scheduled to start in the second week of July. The first week will be occupied in dismantling the glasshouses and storing them, breaking up the concrete bases, levelling the ground for the new base, and putting in the underground supplies of water and electricity.
