Rebutia calliantha Bewerunge

A large-bodied, relatively long- and fine-spined, red-flowered plant. Regarded by some as a form of Rebutia marsoneri, or Rebutia minuscula ssp. wessneriana (Rebutia wessneriana). Typically grows taller rather than wide (c.f. R. wessneriana which is typically low-growing, more wide than tall). Found to be distinctive enough to be given specific status by Mosti & Papini (2011). There have been various described forms over the years, some of which are regarded as R. krainziana, R. kariusiana, or the aforementioned species.
