Aylostera froehlichiana (also spelled fröhlichiana) R493

R493 as shown here is probably not A. froehlichiana, but has been grown by us from seed described as this. This field number (which I think is correct) is normally described as Aylostera gavazzii or sometimes Aylostera raullii. There are several nurseries selling R493 as A. froehlichiana.

The type specimen is WR649 and this is the only plant which I would regard as being truly A. froehlichiana- unfortunately not currently in our collection.
